Front-End Developer Position

Front-end developers are the essential part of creating web-based applications from our amazing designs. Front-end developers will be expected to telecommute only.

We expect our F.E. Developers to:

• Love taking flat design comps and making them interactive interfaces with hand-coded JavaScript that utilize JS libraries.
• Interpret and replicate the entire front-end of a web site or application to full development.
• Enjoy working within a team based development system and take pride in their communicative and collaborative abilities.
• Have an undeniable attention to detail to maintain the sanctity of original, sometimes complex, designs.
• Be dedicated to proper and efficient work methods. Developers should be relentless in their efforts to optimize and replace images, use unobtrusive JavaScript, and adhere to accessibility guidelines.
• Meet deadlines without breakdowns in work ethic, quality, or communications.
• Enjoy doing a variety of tasks, but remain committed to finishing projects that occasionally take weeks of focused, sometimes tedious effort.
• Be leaders in XHTML, CSS, JavaScript and JavaScript libraries with a solid proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator and Dreamweaver.
• Generally have experience with server-side code and Content management systems such as PHP, Joomla, Drupal, and Wordpress.

Education and Experience:

We require a minimum of 3 years industry experience and a BS or BFA.
